Monsters, rawr!

I bought these monster onesies back when Jane was a baby.  They were just tooooo cute!  I love putting them on Colin!!

And, of course, I had to capture these cute snuggles with Daddy:

Daddy has "magic arms" that help Colin to fall asleep every night.  They are both snugglers, I think.

Smiles

Colin is really smiling back at us when we smile at him now, and it is so fun to interact with him this way.  I took a video today of his big open-mouthed smiles at me as I was talking to him.

First Snow

We had our first snow of the season today.  It didn't last very long on the ground, but it was long enough for Jane to try out her new snow boots which she loves and wanted to wear to bed.

Colin, of course, stayed snuggly inside.  My kind of guy. =)

I was cleaning the house today and I guess Jane was "helping."  I went to check on Colin and found her shoes dumped on top of him in the bassinet:

Last day of maternity leave

Today it's getting colder, the leaves are falling off the trees in earnest, and I have to go back to work tomorrow.  =(

Colin WAS sleeping peacefully on Daddy right before I took this picture. Silly baby.

Also, behold Jane's cuteness.  She picked out the hat and glasses to wear, I think the girl's got style.  Just one picture didn't do her justice:

Easygoing guy

Daddy and I have been at a conference in Salt Lake for hours and Colin hasn't cried once!  What a good boy he is!  It's hard to believe any baby could ever be easier than Jane but Colin sure is giving her a run for the money!

Smiles

Colin really does smile all the time, and he recently smiled back at me when I smiled at him.

Here's a little video of him just sleeping and smiling a tiny bit.  Probably boring, but I eat this stuff up.

Colin is starting to get a bit big for his newborn clothes.  But the 0-3 month clothes still seem to drown him a bit!  But I can tell now that he is bigger than when he was born.  He just seems to get cuter, though.  I love him!

I was standing in my bedroom when Jane came in behind me and peeked in at Colin in the bassinet.  She said, "Awwwww, cyuuuuuuute.  I love Colin."  It is hilarious and adorable and she says it all the time, but I can never manage to catch it.  Anyway, I got the camera out and asked her to repeat what she said.  It didn't quite work, though.




This morning Jane had a playdate with Evelyn at Auntie Lauren's house.  She sure had fun!  I did, too!

Today Jane got to hold Colin on our bed.  They had a good snuggle time.  Jane continues to be so sweet and careful with Colin, she is a great big sister.  Colin seems to like her a lot. =)

Grandpa Visits: the Sequel!

And I remembered my camera this time!  Grandpa Ross and Kathy stopped by our place again before they left Utah this morning.  We had a nice walk through a park near my house on the mountain.  But we made sure to take some photos back at the house before they left:
